Hey Tracerr team - I have a favor to ask:
At the NotOPCD4 game there was a sweet "covershot" of Jake Styer with facepaint against a cool backdrop.

Could UCA use that image for an upcoming event?
We are trying to put Jakes face on a poker card - but he is not being cooperative and this image is the best one I can think of.

Email me at scoth at orbitonline dot com if this can work.

Well,
After some hard work and some adjusting to various aspects of our lives, we are working hard on getting the second issue of Tracerr out.
We are really excited about this issue for a couple of reasons.

Content:
All of you asked for more content, more pictures, more everything! We are proud to announce that this issue will be more than double the page count of our last issue.
We also took everyones advice to have more pictures. All articles have been jammed with pictures and not only that, we have pages and pages of just pictures.

Articles:
We have some exclusive articles that you will only find in Tracerr magazine. We have worked long and hard to track down the articles that we feel will be interesting and beneficial to the airsoft community and we pursued them harder than ever to make sure we got what we wanted.

Expected Release Time:
We realize we have pushed back the release date twice on this issue, but we did this to make sure that we had the best content possible and gave it to you in the best designed free online AND PRINTED (not free) magazine. We plan on releasing this issue at the end of March. So keep an eye out for the release announcement. All subscribers will get the email directly from us telling them about it, everyone else will just have to come here to hear about it.

Printed? WHAT?:D
Thats right, we have been able to strike a deal with a local printer (Mostly because our designer works for this printer) and get a small limited edition (Numbered even) run of this second issue done at some affordable prices. Get your issue while supplies last. There is pre-order button on our home page! Only $6.00 for this limited edition issue!

Well, thank you everyone for your support.

Hey this is Tom from Park City, I am the Co-Tl of Park City Airsoft or Cambodia. I was hoping that we might be able to get a little face time, or at least phone time, or even email/forum time with tracerr to kind of promote our team and get a few more people to know what we're about. We've played with every team and been a part of almost everyteam say TAC-4, UCA, BOE, USAC, Merc, and now we are back to our own separate entity. If we could get an interview I would truly appreciate it.

Scorpion overnighter June 20th-21st, 2008

I'm putting together the 4th annual Scorpion overnighter for June 20th~21st, 2008.

It's going to be about a (present time) alternative reality set in "New Germania" which is the outcome of the German movement for world reform.. Basically, Germany won WW2, but only because Hitler died, and a smarter collection of German leaders took over the campaign.. This movement caused the complete takeover of Europe and Asia, and the destruction of America. It also caused a mass migration of Jews through Russia to North America.. That was then, now, the Israeli's (currently established in North America, are invading New Germania to take back their Promised Lands and their right to exist.

There are more things to say about this event. We have written a back story that re-writes history. A "What if" scenario, if you want to call it that. Then, we have the present day story that leads us to the event.

The title of the event has not been officially decided on, but the scenarios, props, game-play, concepts and uniforms have been.

The basic game-play concept of this event is Attack/Defend. The Israeli's will be invading, while the Germanian's will defend. Objectives on both sides will be simple and easy to pursue. There will be little complication in how to play, and a player can choose the level of complications they want to experience by submitting their "wants" (i.e. A MILSIM or standard game-play experience) and they will be placed on a unit that fits their style.. A player can also choose as well.

There are only two Uniforms. Germania will have Flectarn, and Israeli will have any shade of Green (i.e. OD, Olive, etc.)

So far, we have designed the game-play scenarios for day and night missions, plus were are putting together ideas for the Market, Team Camp-sites, and several other unique ideas that will make this event better than the last. There will be less emphasis on the Market this year, but there will still be reasons to stay up late and hangout at the Market if you don't have a night mission to complete.

A website for this event will be developed within a month, and detailed information will be available there, however; you can ask anything you want and I'll fill in the blanks.

FAQ:
Q- Where's it at?
A- the Mountains of Utah County (Utah) *Very green, with trenches, tree clusters (tall and short), hills, and flat fields*

Q- What will it cost?
A- I am 99% sure that it will be $50. This is based on alot of perks the players will receive with their player packet, and the time and money put into the props, and other forms of player entertainment. It will be worth it.

Q- When?
A- June 20th~21st.. In case you missed the thread title ;)

FYI:
1- the date is based on the Lunar schedule. This weekend will have the fullest Moon for better vision during the night games and camping.

2- Each side (Germanian and Israeli) will have props pertaining to their style of objective. Germanian's will have defensive weapons to counter the Israeli attacks, while the Israeli's will have offensive weapons to counter the Germania's defenses. *I'm very excited about this*

3- The "International Trading Market" will have Airsoft games to be played during the night and during breaks in between day games. There will also be actual trading welcome between local players (i.e. used guns, batteries, whatever). Food, Entertainment, and interaction with the event scenario. The Trading Market is intended to get the players into the scenario. This can include role-playing, shoots-outs, espionage, and much more.

4- Everyone gets a player packet, and each player packet will be unique to each side, unit, and individual. *Another thing I am really excited about*
